The Royal Mint issued a number of 2001 Gold Sovereigns together with a St. George & Dragon 10 Shilling stamp replica in gilded sterling silver.

The stamp re-created here in sterling silver is the High Value Definitive 10/- (ten shillings = 50 pence), first issued in 1951, fifty years before the 2001 sovereign, creating a golden jubilee link. The stamp replica is gold-plated in 22 carat gold.

The sovereign and stamp ingot pair are housed in a velvet box, complete with an informative certificate.
